Christopher Nkunku, who missed last night’s game due to a confusing week of conflicting messages regarding a hip problem, may play next week, according to a positive update from RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins.
Hawkins tweets that Nkunku is “fine” and that his absence was “just prevention.” This is a little confusing because Mauricio Pochettino seemed to indicate that this would be a multiple-week problem, but Hawkins is well-connected and RMC Sport is a serious media operation in France, so we’re confident he wouldn’t be saying this if he didn’t know fair.
